SIC is today one of the world leaders in the design, engineering and construction of plants and machines for the production of lime and its derivatives. Thanks to its wide range of experiences, SIC is considered by its customers as the “lime problem solver” or source of information in the world of lime. The new headquarters built in 2007, from the initial project, is functional to the type of activity that SIC carries out and above all to the “philosophy” with which this activity must be carried out.

SIC‘s “home” is located on the outskirts of the city of Milan, one of the main economic and technological centres in Europe, and the location is the result of the need to have access to all the facilities that only a large international centre like Milan can offer.

In more than 1000 m² of office space are located: the technical-sales department, the design and engineering office, the research centre, the laboratory for chemical and physical material tests and the control and testing area for machines and special materials.

Carrying out all critical activities “in house”, under the careful control of our qualified technical staff, may seem more onerous, but we want all functions considered strategic to be concentrated at our headquarters with a very short chain of control and responsibility.

We believe that quality and control as a whole bring great economic benefit in the overall project realisation for our customers and for SIC in terms of image feedback.

The continuous development of similar technologies, even if different for some of their peculiarities, is wanted to be able to guarantee our customers that our proposal is always the result of a technological choice and not merely commercial.
